Building a Stronger, Safer, and More Connected Oklahoma City

I firmly believe that strong families are the cornerstone of a thriving community. As your state senator, I will work closely with local organizations and churches to develop programs that support families at every stage of life. My initiatives will include marriage counseling, parenting workshops, and youth mentoring programs to nurture the minds and spirits of each individual. Furthermore, I will advocate for policies that support the welfare of all family members, from prenatal care to senior services, reinforcing the value of life and family unity in our community.

As the father of eight children, I understand the burden most parents feel to educate and equip their children for future success. I am myself a graduate of public schools and am grateful for the teachers and administrators who made a difference in my life.

I will support public education in our community to ensure the best outcomes for students and teachers in our Oklahoma public schools. As a former teacher and homeschool dad, I also understand that each child has a different learning style and different educational needs that sometimes need to be met with creativity and innovation. My goal is to empower parents to maximize their children’s potential success by giving parents access to the broadest range of tools and solutions to allow their children to thrive, regardless of race, income, or zip code.

I will promote the value of high school graduation and continuing education through vo-tech training or college, which have been proven to raise the standard of living for families and generations to come.

As your future state senator, I recognize that well-maintained infrastructure is crucial for ensuring safety, promoting efficiency, and fostering economic growth. I am committed to addressing the critical needs of our community’s infrastructure. My comprehensive plan involves the repair and maintenance of roads and bridges, the enhancement of our public transportation systems, and the upgrading of essential public facilities such as parks and libraries. I will also focus on investing in energy-efficient public lighting and improving sidewalks and bike paths to create a more accessible and environmentally friendly community. These improvements are vital not only for enhancing daily life but also for attracting businesses and tourism, thereby boosting our local economy.

Studies show that people who are isolated and feel alone are vulnerable to tyranny, while those who feel connected are resilient. Oklahoma’s senate district 46 reflects tremendous diversity, and I hope to build bridges of understanding and belonging within it. You will find me engaging with local businesses, nonprofits, churches, and other organizations to provide interaction, teaching, mentorship, that benefit each person and, by extension, Oklahoma City.

The great American republic rests on the right of its citizens to choose their own government leaders through fair elections. Just as we secure our homes with locks and keys, so too we must fortify our electoral system against the perils of fraud and manipulation. No vote should be diluted, discounted, or disenfranchised. I will support voter verification measures in Oklahoma that ensure those who cast ballots are indeed eligible to do so. When each vote resonates equally, the true will of the people prevails, and each voter can be confident in the fairness of the outcome.

I believe that each human being is made in the image of God and has infinite worth regardless of age, race, gender, or socio-economic status. I will advocate for the life, liberty and happiness of every unborn child, and I will work to promote safety and opportunity for expectant women who are vulnerable to abuse, poverty, and isolation.
